Christine & Matt 29th December 2014

Matt and Christine had chosen the Inn on the Lake in Glenridding, Cumbria as the venue for their winter wedding. As we all know the British weather can be somewhat unpredictable with forecasts changing daily from clear blue skies to rain to snow so we didn't take any chances and had contingency plans in place just in case we needed them! I am very happy to say that we didn't and the day before and the day of the wedding could not have been more perfect with stunning blue winter skies with a light dusting of snow on the tops of the fells.

As the sun set on the eve of the wedding, a beautiful pink glow took over the sky.

With the wedding being at 11am we took the opportunity to take some of the photos the afternoon before to free up time in the morning. The buttonholes for the men were made from ferns, symbolic of New Zealand, a place that is close to both Matt and Christine and placed in front of the window with the snow covered fells as a backdrop seemed very fitting.

It was an early start to the morning of the wedding and we were all keeping our fingers crossed for good weather and weren't to be disappointed! Watching the sunrise from the bridal sweet was wonderful flooding the room with beautiful light perfect for photos. The flowers were stunning and filled with greens and whites with roses, orchids and ferns.

Once Christine was in her jaw-dropping Maggie Sottero dress looking like a princess, it was time to take the photos that we had discussed in depth.

Not forgetting the beautiful bridesmaids and the boys getting ready downstairs!

With everyone dressed and ready to go, it was time to head off to get married.

Just enough time for a wedding day selfie!

With all formalities done, we headed off to the jetty to take the much discussed and hoped for photos and the weather was perfect with stunning blue skies and barely a breath of wind.

Just to one side of the jetties is a small pool which if the conditions are in your favour, and the water level is low enough to get onto the small beach, can produce wonderful reflections, while we were taking the photos on the jetty the pool was being visited by some geese but by the time we had finished they had moved on which meant we were able to captured the shots

There is always time for a quick swing on the lamppost before heading in for the wedding breakfast!

By now we were all a bit chilly, so it was time to head inside for the wedding breakfast, speeches and cutting of the cake.

We had a lovely meal followed by a break to catch up with friends and take in the day before heading off for the evening party and first dance.

I would like to wish Matt and Christine a wonderful married life together and all the adventure, excitement and love in the world for this new chapter in their lives together. They are a truly stunning and very fun couple and you can see  more of the photos from their wedding over on my Facebook Page: Christine & Matt

Becky & Dave 20th July 2014

After all the thunderstorms and heavy rain, we were all keeping our fingers crossed for Dave and Becky that Sunday would be a lovely day and they would be able to get married outside! The Venue was Rowton Castle in Shrewsbury, a really stunning venue with fantastic grounds and one of the best outside ceremony settings I have seen. As luck would have it we woke up on Sunday morning to beautiful blue skies and apart from a few light fluffy clouds it remained that way for the whole day.

I arrived at the venue in plenty of time to captured some beautiful moments during the getting ready time as the guests assembled.

Once everyone was ready it was time to head to the ceremony which was held in the gardens in a beautiful setting and time to see Dave's face as he saw Becky (looking stunning) walking down the aisle.

The ceremony was really beautiful and afterwards we all had mini ice creams while the photos were being taken, such a wonderful idea that went down so well with adults and children alike!

After the reception and speeches it was time to cut the cake and have the first dance, a lovely way to round off a stunning day.

I would like to wish Dave and Becky all the very best for this new chapter in their lives together may it be filled with love, adventure and plenty of happiness.

Amy & Richard 5th July 2014

The wedding of Richard and Amy was to be a very personal occasion. The couple (with the help of friends and family) organised and made everything themselves from the decorations to the wedding dress and cake.

The ceremony was held on Amy's parents farm in Devon outside in a truly beautiful setting right next to a large pond overlooking fields on every side. Although the day was a relaxed affair it encompassed everything that is Richard and Amy and their love for each other from a handmade wooden ring box, to a horse drawn cart bringing the wedding party to the ceremony, here are just a few photographs capturing those moments from the day.

I actually know Amy and Richard through Ceroc so it goes without saying that their first dance was something a little bit special.

I would like to wish Richard and Amy all the happiness, joy and love for this new chapter of their lives together.
